python
What is Python?
Python is a high-level programming language created by Guido van Rossum in 1991. It was designed with one goal: make code readable.
A Simple Example
pythonname = "Moussa" print(f"Hello, {name}!")
This prints: Hello, Moussa!
How Python Handles a List
pythonnumbers = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] squares = [n ** 2 for n in numbers] print(squares) # [1, 4, 9, 16, 25]
Visualizing the Concept
This is how a typical Python development environment looks.
Why Everyone Uses It
- Readable syntax
- Massive ecosystem (NumPy, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- One language for scripts, web, data, and AI
That's the basics. Next article I'll go deeper into data types.
